After struggling in round 1 at my home course, Alta Mesa Country Club, I was unable to find any magic in round 2. Two rounds at 1 under par, 70-72, was 1 shot short of having a job for the final round. I am disappointed that I missed the cut but feel good that I know what I need to work on. A couple days of hard work and confidence building should get me ready to go for the next tournament. The last 3 tournaments are all 4 day events starting next week at Whirlwind Golf Club.
