USPGT Postpones Entire 2007 Schedule

I received news today that the US Pro Golf Tour has postponed the entire 2007 schedule. This is the worst news that we could have received. They will not say that the tour is completely cancelled, but anything short of a miracle will result in just that. We have been told that they will continue to search for the necessary funding until all possible resources have been checked. This announcement leaves me with playing a full summer schedule on the Gateway Tour Desert Series. I will try to play in two more of the remaining spring events on the Gateway Tour before starting the summer series. The summer series will consist of 12 events with a Tour Championship to conclude the year. I will also be looking to play in a few state opens and Nationwide Monday qualifiers. I feel more comfortable and confident that my second year on the Gateway Tour will be a successful one. I know all of the courses and am familiar with what it takes to play well in the desert. I am just looking forward to putting everything behind me and playing some tournament golf. If anyone is interested in reading the full announcement from the USPGT on the postponement follow this link: http://www.usprogolftour.com/USPGT_News_Season%20Suspended.htm

I will be in touch soon,

Matt
