Merry Christmas from sunny Arizona. It definitely isn't a white Christmas out here in the desert. I can't wait to get home on the 28th to see snow, although I am sure I will be ready to get back to the 60 degree weather pretty quickly.I just wanted to catch everybody up on life in Arizona. This has been a great year for Sarah and myself, we are getting ready to celebrate our first wedding anniversary at the end of the month. Sarah will be starting a new job in January as a guidance counselor at a K-8 school in Gilbert, Arizona. We just bought our first house together located 10 minutes from Sarah's school in Gilbert (just about 20 minutes south of our place in Mesa now). We are going to start moving tomorrow so things are getting a little crazy. It is amazing how blessed we have been in the last year and how God has been shaping our lives together.
I can't thank my investors enough for the opportunity you are giving me to play professional golf. We have definitely had a few ups and downs but I still feel like I am getting better every year and that much closer to the goal of the PGA Tour. I have been continuing to work on my swing with Kevin Beard. I have also started working with Rick Fehr, a former PGA Tour winner, on my mental game and course management. I really feel like with the help of these guys I can achieve my goals in golf. I am starting to figure out what my schedule will look like next year. I will post a schedule on the website in the next few weeks.
Again, thank you all so much for everything you have done for Sarah and myself. We are so lucky to have a group of supporters behind us that care as much as you do. I hope to see everybody during my trip home later this week.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from,
The Van Cleaves
